The Interior Design Process

The service that we deliver includes working with a client every step of the way or as much as they require throughout the project. This, therefore ensures they are involved in all important decisions so together we can create the interior they have dreamed of.

Stage 2

Concept Development

The concept stage is exciting because it is the first time the client sees drawings and samples. We present the proposed concept designs, furniture layout plans, mood boards and material samples. At this time the client would tell us if the design is shaping in the right direction and anything that they would like to be changed.

Stage 4

Specifications & Costs

If changes need to be made following the design development and design presentation then we will continue to refine the designs. We will then start creating detailed drawings of any bespoke furniture, joinery and interior architecture for your approval. At this stage we will present all final materials, finishes and accessories with a full breakdown of costs in line with budget.

Stage 6

Design Installation

Once the final design, specification, costs and schedules are agreed, with total clarity, transparency and accuracy we see the project through to completion. We attend regular site meetings to ensure our designs are being carried out as intended, as well as arrange delivery of all products and their installation. We will keep the client informed throughout and oversee any snagging at the end of the project, for a smooth handover.

Stage 1

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is one of the most important meetings in the design process. It is important that we understand exactly what the client wants so that we can create an end result that they love. After this initial meeting we will issue a project brief and also a quotation for our fees.

Stage 3

Design Development

We present the refined design concepts through mood-boards, samples and sketches. At the same time we can also create 3D images to help clients to visualise the final design therefore allowing them to make decisions and alterations before we make any physical changes.

Stage 5

Design Sign-Off

The design stage is complete once the client approves the design approvals. We provide the client with all visuals and clear specifications including a full cost breakdown of the scheme. Our work on the project can end at this stage or we can continue to project manage through to completion.
